Throuple was a fun word. Looking between Allan and Saren - his two beautiful boys - it felt very relevant, too. Saren, so smart in his chohka, and Allan, so pretty in his dress robe, and all of them in matching pthalo green... He loved them dearly.
He loved the extravagance and showmanship of all this, too. He still wasn't sure how he felt about marriage, but a wedding? A massive party thrown in honour of the bonds with the people he loved? He adored that idea. He could imagine the elaborate set dressing he'd do for his own, and how he'd dress up himself. He felt it would be rude if, while attending one wedding, he started planning another one in his head, though. At least he'd gotten to collaborate with the other two on what their outfits would be like.
Speaking of: to match the others, his outfit, of course, contained pthalo green. However, the majority of his saree was a seafoam green; the material was perhaps chiffon, or some other slightly transparent cloth. Spiralling stems of green embroidered thread cascaded down from top to bottom, upon each stem a beetle wing 'leaf', and at the end of each stem there was a small red rose. The seafoam, it seemed, was a lighter canvas to more easily see the beetle deetles details. The saree was mostly loose and modest, but the way the collar folded across one shoulder left the other bare, like a greek robe. The edges of the saree were a block of pthalo green with three gold stripes cutting it into thirds. On his neck he wore a jade and pearl necklace, and his earrings matched Allan's - one dangly beetle-wing earring, one pearl. They'd swapped earlier.
He saw T'Lora sneer - killjoy - but decided to ignore them. Renakir's entrance had been a hit with the rest of the crowd including him as he cheered. He had to give it to him - he would never have thought to start a wedding like a wrestler. Perhaps Renakir would be up for a fight later - on the stage!
